21st Century Essential provides free shipping on all purchases over $100 via FedEx Ground, UPS, or USPS. For orders under $100, a flat fee of $7.99 applies.

We ship within the 48 contiguous United States only. Unfortunately, we do not ship to APO/FPO addresses, nor to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, or other U.S. territories.

Orders placed before 3 PM EST (Monday–Friday) are typically shipped the same business day. Orders placed after 3 PM, on weekends, or during U.S. holidays will ship on the next business day.

After your order is shipped, we will send you a confirmation email with tracking information. Please ensure that the recipient name used during checkout is available to sign for the package upon delivery.

Returns

Thank you for your purchase at 21st Century Essential Store.

21st Century Essential will not accept unauthorized returns. If you have a problem or need to return an item, please contact us through our email at contact@21stcenturyessential.com. We may request proof of purchase, a receipt, or other relevant information to authorize your return.

If the box was not opened, the shipping cost back to our facility is the recipient’s responsibility. In this case, we will withhold a 10% restocking fee and the original shipping cost. If the box was opened but the item was not used, the recipient will be charged a 20% restocking fee and the original shipping cost; return shipping is also the recipient’s responsibility. All issues with items must be reported within 48 hours after receiving the package — in such cases, we will cover return shipping. If the issue is reported after 48 hours, shipping costs become the customer’s responsibility. To be eligible for a refund or credit, returned items must be in original packaging, unused, in original condition, and arrive at the 21st Century Essential facility within 7 days of delivery. The return box must not exceed the original size listed in the product description. In cases of size or weight overcharge, we reserve the right to deduct the overage amount from your refund. All returns are inspected prior to issuing any refund or credit. We will not accept returns if items are not returned in their original box.

Ride On Cars and Electric Products

The product must be in the original box with original accessories, packaging, manuals, and registration card in undamaged, clean, and brand-new condition. Electric balance scooters, electric skateboards, and ride on cars are only returnable if the product is unopened. Warranty and/or any coverage becomes invalid if the item was taken apart, modified, or underwent any unauthorized physical or operational changes.

In the event a customer receives a damaged or defective product, we will request photos of the product’s condition via email to evaluate the situation. Once a return label is issued, the item must be shipped back within 7 days, or the customer will be responsible for shipping and any applicable fees.

Diapers and Pull-Ups

We also sell Japanese diapers and pull-ups. These items may be returned within 7 days of delivery, provided they are unopened, unused, and in original condition and packaging. Items that arrive damaged, opened, or missing components are not eligible for return. We do not accept any diaper returns without prior contact. Please email us before sending any product back.

If you’ve subscribed to recurring diaper shipments, please note that subscription orders cannot be canceled once processed. We send an upcoming order notification email 24 hours before your next scheduled order. If you wish to skip or cancel, you must contact us before the order processes. All subscriptions are managed directly by the customer via their online account. Once placed, subscription orders follow the same return conditions as described above.

Refunds

In order to be eligible for a refund, the product must be returned within 30 calendar days of your purchase. To receive a refund or credit, returned items must be in original packaging, unused, in original condition and arrive to 21st Century Essential facility within 7 days of receiving the product. The box should not go beyond the original size which is mentioned in a listing. In case of overcharge 21st Century Essential will withhold this amount from the refund. Items will be inspected within 48 hours prior to issuance of any refund or credit. Return will not be accepted if an item is shipped back to us not in the original box.

Funds will be refunded to the original payment method used during purchase. For credit card payments please allow 5-10 business days for refunds to appear on your credit card statement.

If the product is damaged, or the buyer has initiated the return after 30 calendar days have passed, the buyer will not be eligible for a refund.
